Introduction

College is an institution of higher education where an individual sharpens the intellect and unfolds the unsolved faculties of mind. College library is the heart of institution. The central library was established n year 1979 and provides books, journals, E- Journals, E– Books & internet facility to the teaching staff & students. The library came into existence since the inception of this college. The central library is spread over 69x58 sq.Ft. & located on the ground floor.The library is divided in different sections like Reference book section, Stack room, Digital library with internet, Journal and Reading halls, Teaching staff section and Librarian cabin. The library also provides Location of Information, Indexing, Current Awareness services, Photo copy & Print copy services, for the staff & students. The library aims to be fully automated in due course of time. We try and provide the best of the services to our ability for proper and smooth functioning of the college.

Objectives

  1. 1. Extend support to teaching, learning and research initiatives of the college
  2. 2. Provide career employment information resources to the users
  3. 3. Provide access to Internet, OPAC, and e-resources
  4. 4. Create a suitable ambience for optimum usage of library resources.
  5. 5. Assist in retrieval of reading material and e-resources.
