The glorious journey of the the Politcal Science Department started in the year of 1964 with B.A.Poitical Science with one faculty member. In 1978 the Department of Higher Education Govt. of Madhya Pradesh, taken over this college.

Department of Politcal Science is a Research Centre approved and declared since 2022 by Maharaja Chhatrasal Bundelkhand University Chhatarpur. At present scholars of Ph.D. programme are registered in the Department. The department has BBA course.
